MacBook Neo only arrived in March, but there are already reports about what Apple could change for the second generation. The most consistent rumour is an A19 Pro chip replacing the current A18 Pro, accompanied by 12GB of unified memory instead of 8GB. If that happens, the memory upgrade may be the more useful change. The current Neo is the only Mac in Apple’s line-up that starts with 8GB, and another 4GB would give everyday apps and on-device AI a bit more breathing room.
