Smaller Dynamic Island on the 18 Pro — noticeable difference?

Apple's shrunk the Dynamic Island cut-out again on the 18 Pro and Pro Max. Every year it gets a bit smaller and every year I wonder if anyone actually notices day to day, or if it only shows up in side-by-side photos.

Anyone upgraded from an older Pro who can actually feel the difference in normal use?
