Apple has moved macOS 27 Golden Gate into its final pre-release stage ahead of the public launch on 14 September. Developers can now prepare apps using Xcode 27 Release Candidate and the latest SDKs. For ordinary Mac users, there is little reason to install pre-release software just to get the update a few days early; the public version is close enough that waiting is the safer option.
